For a customer in Wadhurst, the AirPort card in their MacBook Pro 13” 2015 suddenly failed. We collected the MacBook on-site, replaced the AirPort card, and reinstalled the system, starting the new year with a fresh OS.

A water-damaged device isn’t necessarily beyond repair, it really comes down to luck. If you’re fortunate, even severe liquid damage can still be fixed. For MacBook Pro models from 2012 to 2015, speaker distortion after prolonged use is a common issue. The only solution is to replace the speakers. Of course, if it is just speaker distortion, using headphones or external speakers could be a good choice. However, this MacBook Pro 15” 2015 in Bromley also had a damaged screen, leaving no choice but to proceed with the repair.
