Logic Board Replacement @ London
If a Mac won’t go to the login page and instead shows a screen full of multi-language, it’s usually not a good sign. This MacBook Pro 13” 2017 in North London required a logic board replacement, but fortunately all the data remained completely intact.

False Alarm
A MacBook Pro that had previously suffered liquid damage and required a logic board repair suddenly would not power on again, which was understandably concerning. This MacBook Pro 13" 2017 in North London was confirmed to have only a battery issue. The problem was resolved with an on-site battery replacement, and it turned out to be a false alarm.

Inflated Battery @ London
In London, a MacBook Pro 13" 2020 had a battery issue. Upon opening the device on-site, it was discovered that the battery had been replaced previously. The key issue was that during the previous replacement, the entire packaging film was left attached to the battery and installed directly into the machine. Unsurprisingly, the battery failed due to overheating.

Screen Replacement @ Dunstable
In Dunstable, a MacBook Pro 13” 2018 had its screen fail for the second time. Same as last time, the screen was replaced on-site, and once again there was a thoughtful gift — truly appreciated 🙏.

Water Damage @ London
A water-damaged device isn’t necessarily beyond repair, it really comes down to luck. If you’re fortunate, even severe liquid damage can still be fixed. In North London, a MacBook Pro 13” M1 2020 suffered serious liquid damage, but it turned out to be one of the lucky ones. Although the repair took a little longer than expected, it was ultimately successfully repaired.
