A water-damaged device isn’t necessarily beyond repair, it really comes down to luck. If you’re fortunate, even severe liquid damage can still be fixed.
In North London, a MacBook Pro 13” M1 2020 suffered serious liquid damage, but it turned out to be one of the lucky ones. Although the repair took a little longer than expected, it was ultimately successfully repaired.
