Water Damage @ London
A water-damaged device isn’t necessarily beyond repair, it really comes down to luck. If you’re fortunate, even severe liquid damage can still be fixed. In North London, a MacBook Pro 13” M1 2020 suffered serious liquid damage, but it turned out to be one of the lucky ones. Although the repair took a little longer than expected, it was ultimately successfully repaired.

Speakers & Screen Replacement @ Bromley
For MacBook Pro models from 2012 to 2015, speaker distortion after prolonged use is a common issue. The only solution is to replace the speakers. Of course, if it is just speaker distortion, using headphones or external speakers could be a good choice. However, this MacBook Pro 15” 2015 in Bromley also had a damaged screen, leaving no choice but to proceed with the repair. Both the screen and speakers were replaced on-site, resolving both issues in one visit.

Battery Replacement from Stockport
It was supposed to be just a battery issue on this MacBook Pro 13” 2017 turned out to also involve a problem with the logic board. In the end, both a battery replacement and logic board repair were required, solving both issues at once. Many thanks for the owner’s homemade Hong Kong style fried noodles, absolutely delicious 😋.

SSD Upgrade in London
Never imagined that there would come a day when SSD prices go up. In East London, the owner took advantage of the still acceptable pricing to upgrade his MacBook Pro 13” 2015 to a 2TB SSD, while also replacing the battery and a pair of blown speakers, completing both the upgrade and repairs in one go.
